Grocery Orders

The West Muskoka Food Bank is typically open for our clients to pick up their grocery orders every:

  • Thursday afternoon from 3:00 – 5:00 PM
  • Friday morning from 9:00 – 11:00 AM

On occasion, the West Muskoka Food Bank may cancel it’s services for the week due to situations beyond our control (for example, bad weather) – it is your responsibility to check our website or social media for notice of unplanned closures.

Please note the following important information:

  • Your grocery order must be placed before 12:00 PM on Thursday each week to provide sufficient time to prepare the order
  • Once you have completed your grocery order, be sure to click on “submit” at the bottom of the page to place your order
  • Due to the volume of clients picking up orders, please anticipate wait times as we serve clients on a “first-come-first-served” basis and as quickly as possible
  • When picking up your order, you are encouraged to bring your own grocery bags, checking the contents of your order before leaving for accuracy – we will make every effort to ensure we have fulfilled your grocery order correctly and are not responsible for any missing contents or providing replacement items after pick up
  • Grocery delivery is offered as a service to our clients who are shut-in or lack transportation and are unable to pick-up their grocery order. Please call 705 646 3997 to speak with our Operations Manager.
